I wish to express my personal thanks and gratitude to Dr. David Kopelove for the remarkable progress I have made under his care. Dr. Kopelove, through the use of prescription orthotics has improved my posture which has resulted in increased hip mobility and reduced knee, lower back and jaw pain. It has been a very amazing transformation, all in one year’s time.

It was only three years ago that I suffered from constant pain in my lower back, hip displacement and knots in my neck, all of which used to keep me from sleeping at night. I used to take a ton of Advil just to be able to sleep for a few hours. If you are a dancer/instructor you experience pain and pulled muscles all the time, but this was different. Luckily, another instructor at the studio could tell that I was suffering and she recommended that I see Dr. Kopelove.

I first met Dr. Kopelove in 1997. At that point in my life I suffered from back pain sporadically, it started in my mid 20’s. I injured my back in a match, and after a week there was no improvement. I tried several remedies from over the counter pain relief to acupuncture. None of this worked and the pain was getting worse. It’s not everyday you find a doctor with an open mind. How often do you take a sick day (using precious time from work) to see a physician? Did you actually leave the doctor’s office feeling hopeful about your physical ailment? Or, did he/she speak to you in a snooty, condescending manner, tell you your problem would only get worse and send you away with a ridiculous diagnosis completely irrelevant to your healing process? If so, I would assume your faith in doctors has lessened. Mine certainly had. Click to read more...
